Protection for Emergency Responders

Feb 26, 2025 | Decrees for Governments & Nations

Declaration
We decree that the emergency and first responders in our nation shall be protected and preserved. We prophesy that they shall be safe as they tend to dangerous and unstable situations. We prophesy an anointing of preservation to be upon every firefighter, police officer, medical professional, and paramedic. We prophesy protection over the professionals involved in all aspects of emergency rescue, search, and recovery. We declare they shall perform their duties efficiently and with physical and emotional strength. We bind the spirit of accident, tragedy, death, and calamity from harming them in Jesus’ Name! We take authority over all post-traumatic stress, and we declare it cannot bind itself to their soul. May the hardships and difficulties they encounter on the field not draw them into depression or despondency. We prophesy the Lord’s peace to be upon them and their families. We declare whenever they leave their homes for work, they shall return safely. We bind the attempts of the attacker, lawless and rebellious, from imposing harm upon law enforcement and security personnel. We pray that every first responder will uphold their position with expertise and professionalism and will receive appreciation and value from the public. We say that the Lord’s supernatural hand and His mighty angels shall place a guard of protection upon every first and emergency responder in the United States of America!

Scripture
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore (Psalm 121:8 KJV).

Word of Encouragement
Every tragic event we have ever seen in the news serves to highlight the work of first and emergency responders. If not for their willingness to fly in the face of danger, countless tragic situations may have turned for the worse. Unless we have been in their field of work, we cannot possibly grasp all the challenges they deal with each day in such a high adrenaline environment. It’s why the demand to “defund the police” is so grievous. We know that our law enforcement professionals do so much more for the community than enforce the law. They are also first responders on some of the most tragic accidents and rescues, many of which include infants and children. If not for all our emergency responders, life as we know it would be so much different and the stability we have as a nation would be gone. They need to know that society supports them and is appreciative of their years of hard training and dedication to the betterment and well-being of all citizens. Undoubtedly, one of the ways we can change America is to pray for our first responders and ask God to protect them. They need our prayers of strength and support, and whenever we encounter or meet one we need to let them know we pray for them and value them! Our prayers and decrees of faith will move God’s hand and the commissioning of Heaven’s angels to surround and preserve them.
