SCRIPTURE
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever (1 Chronicles 16:34).
WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Anyone can talk about how bad things are and emphasize how messed up the world is or how bad life is going. But it takes an anointing from God to look past the dark clouds and see the good. Sure, there is sin in the world and God’s judge- ment will be exacted upon it, but we aren’t called to spend our days emphasizing that alone. We are called to promote His goodness. As long as God’s Spirit is here on earth He has a redemptive plan of hope for humanity. He has a redemptive plan for you. God wants us to see His goodness at work in every situation. Some may call it optimism, but it’s really the ability to see His goodness amidst turmoil. Remember,
no matter how dark it seems, if you look for it, you can see God’s goodness at work. You can see His hand involved, so always remember to promote His goodness!
