SCRIPTURE
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, wherebywecry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God (Romans 8:15-16).
WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Children have the natural sense of knowing the care of their parents. When they have a need, they don’t go call for a neighbor. They call for mom and dad! When children grow up in a safe, loving home they know where to run. Small children believe Daddy can do anything! While we have the instinct as natural parents to do anything we can to help our children, we are also limited human beings. God, however, is not limited and is a limitless, loving Father who wants us to sense His unfailing love, much the way a young toddler might sense that from his daddy. When you make the effort to build your relationship with God as your heavenly Father, it solidifies your faith. This is because you know God loves you. You also know He will be there for you in your times of need. Ask Him today to help you sense and receive a greater revelation of His unfailing love and the assurance of His care for you as His child!
