SCRIPTURE
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is theheritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).
WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
There is an old saying: “don’t borrow trouble,” which essentially means don’t assume the worst. One of the most common areas where we struggle with this is when we face trials and then feel pressed upon by lies, rumors, and what we think people are saying. Overcoming what you think might be getting said about you negatively is one of the greatest victories you can win. When the Bible tells us no weapon formed against you shall prosper, it says so in context of words spoken about you that come to condemn or damage your integrity. Believe today that God is big enough to handle the naysayers and slanderers and that you will be exonerated from their lies. We can spend so much of our time worrying about what someone is saying that we miss what God is saying. Trust today that no weapon formed against you can prosper!
