Liberty Protected

Jan 17, 2024 | Daily Decrees, Decrees for Governments & Nations

Declaration
We decree this nation shall be one that is marked by liberty and freedom for the people! We prophesy that the privileges established in our Constitution for the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness shall be preserved. We break the power of all governmental ideologies that would attempt to place a chokehold on the joyous freedoms this nation was founded upon. We
bind the work of socialism, communism, totalitarianism, and Marxism from gaining ground in our country, in Jesus’ Name! We declare that capitalism, free enterprise, and industrialism shall stand strong in society and shall prosper. We prophesy that our nation shall defend the right for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ to have its rightful place in the public square and in the political arena. We say nothing shall infringe upon the right we have to gather in our homes, churches, or in public places, and we shall always be able to worship freely. The preaching of the Bible shall not be infringed upon, and the pulpits of America shall remain free from all laws that would bind their voice to speak and preach God’s Word without restriction. We declare the liberty of the United States of America shall be protected in the Name of Jesus! Amen!

Scripture
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another (Galatians 5:13 KJV).

Word of Encouragement
One of the marks God’s character is that He wants people free—free to live a fulfilled and abundant life. He did not create human beings for them to be bound and chained, whether it be spiritually, emotionally, physically or culturally. Tyranny and governmental control that keeps its citizens beholden to laws that inflict harm are something God is adamantly against. One of the key reasons, among others, that God has blessed our nation is because it was established to promote liberty, specifically the liberty to worship the Lord and honor Him freely. And yes, while God is the author of freedom, we know that freedom should never be interpreted as a free-for-all to commit wrong and evil (see Gal. 5:13). That said, there are always those lurking who would love to take the orderly experience and meaning of liberty away. The devil is the author of bondage and control, and he is always working to steal our freedoms. He will definitely try to do that with people personally, keeping them bound to certain things, or he will attempt it in society and in the nation as well. We have already witnessed how liberal progressives and those bent upon socialist ideologies want to impose their philosophies on the rest of society and remove all sense of free enterprise, making most things state and government owned and regulated. History clearly reveals the evil that always ensues under this type of government. We need to continue to pray and declare that the liberties and freedoms that this nation was founded upon and the freedom given the Church shall always be protected!
