SCRIPTURE

WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Fear in the lives of people is a very real and demonic entity. Satan loves to capitalize on the types of things that create fear in a person’s mind. He wants us to envision the possibility of tragedy, failure, sickness, and the like. He will use events from things like a news story, a friend’s experience, or perhaps something that happened to you personally. He then uses these to implant an image inside of us that something will go terribly wrong and with it attempt to make us believe that God will not rescue us from it. We have the choice to not let the spirit of fear or the imagination of fearful events invade our thoughts. We can overcome the enemy’s tactic of fear by speaking the opposite. We can command fearful thoughts to leave us. Our words of faith will enable us to shift our mental images onto the fact that God’s great and miraculous hand is working for us in every situation and that there is no reason to fear!
