Brenda here. In the book of Acts, the apostles were changing the world around them as they exercised the power and authority Jesus had given them. The political establishment of the day threatened and opposed the apostles, but in no way did they back down from Jesus’ commission to take the Gospel into all the world. In fact, the opposition made them even bolder!
We’ve seen things in this nation these past few months that most of us have never seen in our lifetime. The enemy has brought great opposition against the Body of Christ. State governments have banned singing in services and threatened to bulldoze church buildings. How is this happening?
2020 is allowing us to see some of the results of our silence over the past decades. Church, we can no longer sit on the sidelines – it’s time for us to take back our nation. It’s time for us to stand up and speak and vote for righteousness! Jesus has given you and I authority – let’s not be afraid to use it!
