Assured Faith

May 10, 2020 | Daily Decrees, Pastor Brenda Kunneman

Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses] (Hebrews 11:1 AMPC).

The Bible makes it very clear that we are not supposed to live focused only on what we can see with our natural eye. In fact our very Christianity is based on this truth. We love, serve, and believe in the Lord, although we can’t physically see Him. It’s the same regarding the things we pray about. We may not see the answer yet, but we can be assured of it through the eye of faith. Hebrews 11:1 says faith becomes the proof long before we see the manifestation of the answer in the natural realm. If you have gotten discouraged while waiting for
an answer to prayer, work on strengthening your faith. Decree over your faith today that you will not lose hope, but rather that your faith will remain assured!
