Align With God’s Ways

Feb 14, 2021 | Articles, Pastor Hank Kunneman

All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of His covenant (Ps 25:10 NIV).

Pastor Hank here. Many things have been prophesied through this ministry regarding the season we are in and the years to come. God has told us that this is the decade of difference; that while it would start off harsh, His goodness and mercy would be revealed. When prophetic words come forth, our mind, will, and emotions influence how we hear. As humans, our human filter is involved and we sometimes construct a scenario in our minds of how God’s Word will come to pass. The problem with this is that when things don’t look the way we think they should, we dismiss God’s Word altogether and lose heart. This is why it’s so important that we stay close to the Lord and continue to hear His heart.

It is easy to cry out to God for His will, but we have a harder time aligning with His ways. Scripture says that Moses knew the will of God, and he also knew His ways (Ps. 103). When things don’t look the way we think they should, we have to remember what God Himself says about His ways: “My plans aren’t your plans, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my plans than your plans. Just as the rain and the snow come down from the sky and don’t return there without watering the earth, making it conceive and yield plants and providing seed to the sower and food to the eater, so is my word that comes from my mouth; it does not return to me empty. Instead, it does what I want, and accomplishes what I intend” (Is. 55:8-11 CEB).

God still has His eye on the United States of America, and He still has His eye on you. No matter what circumstance you’re facing, stay focused on His Word and know that it will accomplish what He desires and that His ways are always good!
We love you and we are praying for you.
