SCRIPTURE
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear (Mark 4:23).
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches (Revelation 2:11).
WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
We are living in a morally declining culture where godlessness is on the rise. More than ever, it’s important to have an ear that can hear the direction and move of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said that deception would be rampant in the last days (see Matt. 24) and it would require us to be on the alert so we ourselves don’t become misguided. But more than just becoming misguided, we must also be a people who can hear the Spirit’s plans and purposes so we can know our heavenly assignments. We must have ears to hear His instructions so we can reach this culture with the Gospel. We are to be God’s warriors of truth and it requires us to know His plans and directives. Ask the Lord to give you a spiritual ear to hear so that you will not be misguided by popular opinions and conceptions, but rather that which the Spirit is saying. Ask for a keen ear to hear!
