Judges of Righteousness

Jan 17, 2024 | Daily Decrees, Decrees for Governments & Nations

Declaration
We decree that our nation shall have judges of righteousness! They shall work to uphold the rule of law with integrity and honor. We prophesy that judges who are committed to that which is truthful and right shall be positioned, anointed, and appointed, and those who would rule in wickedness shall be removed from office. Our judges shall be dedicated to protecting truth and
morality. We prophesy that our judges on every level, local, district, federal, and even on the highest court, shall rule in righteousness and without fear. We bind the workers of violence from intimidating and bullying righteous judges. We speak a failure to the attempts of every attacker, vandal, murderer, stalker, and false accuser who would arise against righteous judges. We break the power of lying, manipulation, evasion, and tactics of delay that would prevent the appropriate cases from being heard and right rulings from being decided and adjudged in Jesus’ Name. We declare judges shall be appointed who shall not exploit their office nor legislate from the bench. We say the juries of our land shall arbitrate in truth and according to sound justice, and fair and honest legal cases, lawsuits, and trials shall mark our nation’s courts. We decree honorable judges shall arise in the United States of America! In Jesus’ Name, amen!

Scripture
Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother (Zechariah 7:9 KJV). And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city (Isaiah 1:26 KJV).

Word of Encouragement
One of the most important prayers believers can pray when it comes to their nation is that honorable and righteous judges will be placed in office. We know how detrimental the wrong judge can be. In fact, Jesus talked about the unjust judge whose hardness of heart, for a time, kept him from even hearing the case of a desperate widow who was clearly being abused by an enemy (see
Luke 18:1-6). The Bible says this judge did not fear God and he couldn’t care less about the plight of anyone in his district. From the biblical account, it sounds like he was one who even refused to hear legitimate cases brought to his court whenever it was in his selfish interest to do so. And if this was anything like today, I am sure this judge had a reputation in the community. Undoubtedly people were shocked when he refused certain cases in which clear evidence was presented and which should have been heard. We see many such judges today, many whose
agenda is to obstruct the Gospel and righteousness. But the good news is that God on many accounts promised that He will cause righteous judges to be placed. We must ask the Lord to position them so this next season can bring peace to the land and allow the work of the Lord to prosper and prevail! Let’s call on Heaven for righteous judges!
