Declaration
We declare the United States of America shall experience revival! We speak that there shall be an awakening that shall blanket this land. We call upon the Lord of Heaven’s Armies to turn the hearts of men away from evil and toward righteousness. We speak that there shall be a move of God that shall permeate society, our cities, and our governments. We declare the powers of evil
are bound from their wicked agenda to promote moral decay, violence, and sin. We decree there shall be a return to the house of God, and families shall once again call upon the Name of the Lord. We say there shall be a revival of the Holy Spirit’s power that shall bring deliverance, healing, and salvation! We decree that America is a nation of revival, and we declare America shall be saved! Amen!
Scripture
Revive us so we can call on your name once more. Turn us again to yourself, O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved (Psalm 80:18-19 NLT).
Word of Encouragement
Revival is a word used often in Christendom and is something that every true believer wants to see happen. We want to see masses of people saved and for backslidden believers to turn back to God. But to experience this, of course it begins with us personally. We first need to examine the areas of our own lives and be willing to make adjustments, so we aren’t contributing to the larger problem happening on a mass scale. Are we living for God wholeheartedly? Are we attending church and walking righteously and so forth? Undoubtedly, believers who are passionately on fire for God will work to be part of the solution. They will influence others to walk in biblical righteousness because they walk that way. They will encourage others to be committed to church because they are committed. They will set the example of bringing the Gospel to a place of prominence in the public square. The second important element for national revival is to have faith for it. We can’t just throw up our hands at the evil all around and say, “What’s the use? There’s no hope!” Our Scripture expresses a tone of expectancy for revival and a national awakening. It’s a direct appeal to God that expresses faith for an answer. It even adds a warfare element to it through the mention of Heaven’s armies being involved. In other words, the desire is for God to conduct spiritual warfare through His people so the enemy’s plans will be interrupted and cause the nation to turn around. As we pray for revival, we must also decree as though it is going to undoubtedly happen! We need to envision a massive awakening regardless of the evidence of evil. We need to decree revival is here! Let’s call our nation a nation of revival!
