SCRIPTURE
Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours (Isaiah 61:7 NIV).
WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Most of us can immediately think of how our lives would change for the better if the good that we already have would double immediately. What we need to have confidence in is the fact that God wants us to always expect increase. Whether it’s our ability to function in the gifts of the Spirit or that which pertains to natural provision, God wants His children blessed. Perhaps you have experienced a season when it seems things have decreased around you, but God is saying right now it’s time to change that mindset and declare, “Double!”
