DECLARATION
We decree that a healing takes place over all relationships in your life. We speak over relationships that have been demonically severed and declare healing to them. We also declare that all relationships that are not meant to be in your life cannot reemerge to bring forth further pain, confusion, destruction, and trauma. We bind the work of abuse, anger, resentment, unforgiveness, misunderstanding, and offense in Jesus’ name. We release the love of God into relationships, families, homes, and churches. We say that fervent Christlike love reigns and covers a multitude of sins, offenses, and misdeeds. We say that all past hurts are healed, and relationships are healed in the name of Jesus.
SCRIPTURE
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins” (1 Peter 4:8 NKJV).
WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Relationships are not easy. If two humans are in a room together for long, disagreements will arise at some point. But as believers we have to decide what to do with these unwanted moments of disagreement. Thankfully, the Bible gives us plenty of God-breathed advice on how to deal with others. We can allow anger and frustration to take over or we can ask the Holy Spirit to give us wisdom and show us how to respond. Of course, we are talking here about relationships that are truly meant to be in our lives. We are not talking about toxic relationships that have expired and shouldn’t be resurrected. We are speaking of those meant to be and how we can function together in wholeness. This applies to families and friends, but of course also applies to the body of Christ. Our Scripture from 1 Peter is speaking about all relationships and especially of our brothers and sisters in the Lord. God does not want us bickering and this is why it says we must have fervent love with one another. We must choose forgiveness over bitterness so we can be healed. If you are suffering the pain of a severed or struggling relationship that has been hard to navigate, then ask God to heal it and then ask the Lord for His love to be released to bring wholeness to all involved.
